This is a beta release of upcoming 0.8 version.

Not implemented yet

Simple query creation.
Ability to view chart without running the query first.

Major new features

Simple build management (view only).
Server connection status handling was improved. Now when there will be a connection problem the servers switches to 'Connection lost state' to denote that there is a connection issue. The 'Reconnect' command was added, and it can be used to reconnect to a given server.
A context menus were added to servers tree. You can launch certain commands right from these menus.

Improvements

System messages are shown at the top of a tab that the message came from. It is no longer displayed on status bar.
When search box is activated via Ctrl + G key stroke the content of a clipboard is automatically inserted and highlighted.
Now you can clear the contents of a history panel.
When creating new work item the default selection is based on currently selected project or if project is not selected it is based on currently active query result tab. Last selected work item type is also stored for each project.
A tab can be closed by middle mouse button click.
A chart options are persisted for each query.

Bug fixes

Unhandled exception when copying work item ID to the clipboard.
Chart tab was not closed when disconnection from a server that chart was associated with.
Selecting 'None' in chart view clears also the chart title.
Server removed\added in settings is removed\added to servers panel.

PLEASE NOTE that when you're using a zipped version you have to run the application using TfsSpotlight.Starter.exe bootstrapping executable. Installer creates shortcuts to this file. This executable enables auto update functionality.

+Features+
* Go to work item command placed on a toollbar allows to quickly open work item given it's ID
** Put work item's ID into a text box and select a server from drop down menu next to it
** You can use Enter key when the text box has focus to pop down menu with servers
** You can also reach go to work item command by utilizing CTRL + G shortcut (for a complete list of shortcuts see [full shortcuts list|shortcuts]).
** If there is only one server connected hitting enter will not bring the servers drop down but instead it will launch go to work item command immediately
* You can double click a work item on a query results grid to open work item in a separate tab
* You can scroll through tabs using your mouse's wheel. For that feature to work you have to give a focus to one of a tab (by clicking tab at the top) and while scrolling the mouse cursor must be over a tab
