My current machine only has Visual Studio Team System 2008 installed. As soon as I try to launch TFS Spotlight, I get the following exception due to a library version mismatch:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A)

As somebody has noted, this is still using the VS 2005 TFS libraries...

When encountering an error with connection to the server change it's icon to one indication error (yellow rectangle).
This should be dne in conjunction with reconnect command.
The workflow should be ass follows:
1. While executing a operation on the server there is connection lost (i.e. internet connectivity problem)
2. The operated server should move to 'Connection lost' state and show info about the issue
3. The tabs associated with that server should became inactive (there is no reason to interact with them sinse there is no connection).
4. With reconnect command we can try to connect once again.
5. If connection was successful the associated tabs should be activated
6. We can introduce auto-reconnect feature that will try to reconect after 5 secconds.

Allow to save a work item as a model. Then the user should have the possibility to create new work items based on the model.

Closed Issue: Messages shown in the status bar are barely visible.

Add reconnect command to servers area
The functionality should differ from disconnection that it must not close the tabs associated with the server but only reconnect to the server, retrieve projects once again and refresh (or not) the tabs.
This functionality will allow to refresh query definitions after they were changed on the server.
